Music
Lübeck Cathedral is a place of music.
The various instruments of the cathedral, choir concerts, solo singing and chamber music, improvisations to texts and songs fill the space with sound from all directions and make it possible to experience the cathedral, its history and its significance in a special way.
All services are liturgically and musically richly arranged by a team of pastor and church musician. Choir and congregational singing, recited psalms and liturgical chants, organ and instrumental music form a musical counterpart to the sermon and readings - word and music complement each other, intertwine.
